Should I kill that optional boss? - Tissuer (sewing, non hostile, optional boss)

Does anybody know if there is any downside to killing this boss?
It feels wrong as the team doesn't want to and feel bad, "empty", if they do.

Wiki doesn't say if there are any cons. Just some unique rewards suggesting to kill it.
But maybe you can get the rewards any other way?

I did not kill it and it made the real boss fight later on harder. I feel like killing it is the smart choice, because this dungeons boss was one of the few I really struggled to take down.

This is correct. When you do the other island with the masks I would also recommend clearing the other paths before going to the boss.

I’ve done the masks island first and killed the optional masks first but this boss doesn’t want to fight and makes your team feel bad when you kill it unprovoked. Similar to white Nevrons.

Can I kill the miniboss after the Siren?

In my fight against the siren, I didn't let hers plays a turn (besides the automatic half-life attack). So she couldn't summon this boss (if that's what happens). And I'm in act 3 and the boss is still alive.
