The dev who designed this minigame has no place in game development. I'm not wasting my time on this, will wait until they patch this stupidity out, and they will once more people reach it and attempt it.
One you mess up its hard to get back on track too. If there was only one direction they came from you could do it blind folded. Just gotta be patient.
here are my tips for keyboard users (the real heroes)
Toggle sprint from gameplay settings
We will play two hands on keyboard so
Temporarily bind strike to UP key or something
Strike side ones diagonally and center one straight
I raged before but after with these settings took me 3 tries.
Still very bad design though.
Best advice ever, makes a world of difference.
Also realised that you don't need to be on the three wooden markers to successfully parry. You can be much closer to the centre and still parry the left and rightmost lanes if you aim correctly. The parry hitbox seems to be a cone? So if you stand on the markers, not only does it take more time to get there but you have to have better aim on the incoming gestral.
Took a while to get down, when shifting to a side lane rather than moving straight there and trying to WD or WA to aim; move back slightly and diagonal move WD or WA into position seemed to work better.
