Beach Volleyball mini game is poorly designed and barely enjoyable.
It's probably easier if you play on controller, but I do not own one. So here I am spamming the F key only for the delay between actions to be so slow that my character either does nothing for does the ability too late. The first two weren't very difficult. But you barely get any inbetween time on the last, inbetween time I could use to see where I am facing.

Thankfully the reward locked behind the last challenge of the mini game isn't really cool. So I don't mind at all never coming back to finish it. I'd rather go have fun.

Beach volleyball at stage 3 is a mockery. Either you hit all directions in time and hope that the attack will count, or 1 miss is not in time and that's the end. Thanks, but I have no desire to torture myself.
Is there some kind of weird fps issue with this raft game and the # of gestrals shot or something? The way people keep describing it isn’t anything like I experienced.

I'm at 144 fps and level 3 is impossible. If there is a right to left or left to right I literally can't get there in time. There's too much delay and pause between attacks

Level 3 took me about 5-7 games. Maybe try to hit parallel to the planks, not directly in direction of the gestrals.

There is an achievement to complete all gestral games, so it's not only a reward that is gated behind this minigame.

The dev who designed this minigame has no place in game development. I'm not wasting my time on this, will wait until they patch this stupidity out, and they will once more people reach it and attempt it.

its all about rhythm.
One you mess up its hard to get back on track too. If there was only one direction they came from you could do it blind folded. Just gotta be patient.

I’m on an old system and run at 60 fps. I had waiting time between gestrals. I’ve seen people mention he fires 2 at once which I never saw either. Quick succession sure, but never more than one to deal with at a time.

I would sooner play volleyball over climbing Ascension Tower... That climb is way too damn long without checkpoints...

It's harder on controller

it is much harder on keyboard because mouse doesn't work in this mini game.

here are my tips for keyboard users (the real heroes)
Toggle sprint from gameplay settings
We will play two hands on keyboard so
Temporarily bind strike to UP key or something
Strike side ones diagonally and center one straight

I raged before but after with these settings took me 3 tries.

Still very bad design though.

Best advice ever, makes a world of difference.
Also realised that you don't need to be on the three wooden markers to successfully parry. You can be much closer to the centre and still parry the left and rightmost lanes if you aim correctly. The parry hitbox seems to be a cone? So if you stand on the markers, not only does it take more time to get there but you have to have better aim on the incoming gestral.
Took a while to get down, when shifting to a side lane rather than moving straight there and trying to WD or WA to aim; move back slightly and diagonal move WD or WA into position seemed to work better.
