Is there a trick to disabling subtitles?
I have subtitles set to "Disabled" and am still getting subtitles during gameplay and cutscenes. Is there another setting that also controls subtitles?

You mean on gestrals?

I mean while playing the game getting subtitles whenever anyone talks. During gameplay and during cutscenes.

The fix ended up being just continue playing, after about 45 minutes of having subtitles Disabled the subtitles suddenly turned off mid-dialogue.
