All achievements finally! any similar game suggestions?
What games would you suggest with a similar combat system to this? I think I'm finally a fan of turn-based games.

I mean that's one hell of a good game to start with, most JRPG aren't this action-oriented

You could try FF7's remake, or Persona 5, both modernize the turn-by-turn formula in their own way, and are quite good at it. It's not gonna be the same system as clair obscur though, with Persona leaning much more towards the turn-based part, and FF7 towards action

You could try Metaphor ReFantazio.
Also has a demo so you can try it out.

Metaphor. Also very stylish round based, and the persona-like time planning during the days can be mostly ignored.
If you do not mind the persona-like time planning, then Persona 5 too.

I tried Persona 4 Golden before, and it felt more like a light novel. I probably need to give it more time. Metaphor looks good from the gameplay I've seen. I'll probably pick up that next. Thanks for the suggestions. I already beat the FF7 remakes.
the persona series and metaphor has a combat system thats stilistically VERY close to this game (in fact those games where major inspirations of the combat interface of this game).

If you're open to roguelike-style games, here's another fast-paced one with an emphasis on carefully avoiding damage:
