Nah, I watched a super packed 47 hour youtube essay that goes thru the events of the previous 32 games and explains them in detail.

Din't miss a beat in this story at all, especially made sense of how we get to the GustavXVerso love making scene.

I thought it weird too that they would revive Gustave only to have a 10mins long sex scene with Verso near the end but I guess that’s just the way it is sometimes.
