This is an unusual title for HDR forced via Special K (or other methods, such as RTX True HDR or the Nvidia App). When HDR is forced, the in-game color management system causes overly dark scenes in various game areas. I've been playing in standard SDR (the game's default) lately, as it's tiresome to constantly adjust HDR and in-game settings depending on changes between indoor and outdoor areas. The devs may fix the color palette and management in the future, but the standard SDR looks the best (IMO) across the broadest range of game terrains and areas.

DEALING WITH THE NOTORIOUS OVERSHARPENING IN-GAME
-------------------
As with most others, I have been a bit put off by the native UE oversharpening. For now, using the above mods and in-game settings, I've managed to mitigate the over sharpening by using the above-linked Ultimate Unreal Engine.ini file from Nexus mods. This hack allows one to reduce sharpening to "0" (none) as well as turn off the oftentimes obnoxious DLSS auto-exposure feature, which often "blows out" the gamma in party members' faces when they are fully lit.

I've also experimented with the iMMERSE FXAA anti-aliasing injection filter via ReShade, which reduces pixellation around hair significantly, depending on the filter's settings. However, I found the gains in pixelation reduction not to be worth the relatively massive 10- 15fps hit that the iMMERSE anti-aliasing filter incurs.

LYALL/CLAIR OBSCURA FIX (GITHUB)
-------------------
This is a nice mod. It uncaps the framerate for cutscenes, resulting in cutscenes rendered at 90fps or higher. It also removes all letterboxing on ultrawide resolution cutscenes, making the game much more immersive and visually attractive for those on 21:9 and other ultrawide resolutions
