Any news on why W and Q and E sometimes don't respond?
Just curious if there's been any word (or fixes found) for getting keyboard keys to respond? W is a nightmare to pick skills with and sometimes my Q and E won't respond or have a very delayed respond. Oh and trying to pick a target sometimes sucks. I really don't want to swap to controller but man when you can sometimes lose a fight from just 1 or 2 attacks not dodged, your keys suddenly not responding sucks!

Don't touch your mouse during any high action speeds in excitement or fright or they don't work. That or the stuttering issue is causing it.
yes, play on gamepad :) better experience :D

pressing a button on the keyboard moves the mouse to the background and brings the keyboard into focus - moving the mouse sets the keyboard in the background. so, anytime you move the mouse, you have to press a button on the keyboard twice for it to register.

If this is true that seems like a terrible way to do it ngl lol

I don't even touch the mouse anymore during combat and still the keys fail to register 50% of the time. And when missing a parry/dodge is one shot, you can imagine the "joy".

I ended up rebinding most things to the mouse in combat. This seems to circumvent the mouse movement issue.

Skills = LMB
Items = thumb mouse
Attack = thumb mouse 2
Gun = default

Skill 1 = RMB
Skill 2 = LMB
Skill 3 = thumb mouse
Change page = middle mouse

right enemy = space
left enemy = shift

dodge = a
parry = d
jump = space
jump attack = f

With these changes I do not experience the issue anymore. Also I ended up liking it better than default. Sucks that the moving the mouse messes with the default controls. I had to experiment a lot to see what buttons don't get affected by the mouse movement bug.

Literally playing right this second and I STG I pressed Q to dodge 3 times in a row and nothing happened. This is getting borderline unplayable and really ruining the experience for me.

Thanks for this! Will try it right now!
kb+m is an afterthought and they just want you to use a controller.

Developer and management skill issue. If they had done reasonable testing and optimization of keyboard + mouse, this would be fine. But instead, the ones making the decisions got greedy and made it "use controller". I think this is hugely unprofessional. (I also cannot use a regular controller, keeping my arms in that position does not work for me.) If you can play with keyboard and mouse, then that needs to work well.

I have experienced the same issue and even made another thread about it. I think we just have to use a controller until or if this is fixed.
