Screen resolution

I try the game after patch, still screen resolution issue. My 1440 monitor reseting to 1080 and showing wrong resolution. Not fixed yet?

I use DSR Factor to play my games with 1440p resolution on my 1080p screen (looks much better). Same problem. On Fullscreen it resets back to 1080. On borderless windowed it somehow switches to 4k (greyed out with no way to change it).

exactly that, your describe match 100%...but my screen is 1440 and sometime i also use DSR to upscale to 2160. But is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugged. Im skip the game for now untill they fix this.

I had an issue where the game wouldn't let me change res and borderless was also acting up.

Force borderless with launch options on steam like this "-popupwindow" should solve the problem for you.

Sadge not sure what the problem might be then. Sorry I couldn't help just sounded like the issue I had. My res was also greyed out and couldn't change it.

Did you try windowed mode in game with steam forcing borderless? I double checked just now and that's how mine is set.

Exactly the same issue for me at 7680x2160.

Aloo, I had one more idea. Kind of a stab in the dark but all I can think of. Go into

Users/YourName/AppData/Local/Sandfall/Saved/Config/Windows

You'll see a file called GameUserSettings open it with notepad and check the following lines

bUseDynamicResolution=False
ResolutionSizeX=2560
ResolutionSizeY=1440
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=2560
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=1440
WindowPosX=0
WindowPosY=0
FullscreenMode=2
LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=2

Adjust the resolution to what you want it to be. FullscreenMode 2 is windowed mode (remember I also have borderless launch option) once you're done click on file and save. To avoid the game trying to change anything after this you can also go into properties for the file and lock it to read only.

Edit: If you can't see AppData check the option to show hidden files. 3 dots at the top - options - view - show hidden files / folders / drives - apply - ok.

Just switch to Borderless Windowed in the Graphics options and the game will automatically run at your selected desktop resolution, no matter what the grayed out resolution option says.
