Similarities to Armed Librarians (Tatakau Shisho)

I dont know if anyone else had the feeling of similarity of the story to the anime series armed librarians...The number of protagonists, the twist at the end..of the world is similar..not the same...also both use death in a special way...Librarians turn people into stone books after death and anyone can read them..their memories... Its not that one is a copy of the other, its the feeling i get while playing...a kind of nostalgia and some tropes...

Literature has explored similar topics for ages as well. Won't name any books here or it would be a massive spoiler, which would be unfair. There is nothing new under the sun, but they way it was done here was still pretty effective and surprising.
