Is there a way to display PSX controller prompts?

I use a PSX controller, but it seems like the game is locked to display XBox controller. Which wouldn't be too much of a problem, if it weren't for the XBox controller being similar, yet opposite, to the Nintendo controller, so it keeps throwing me off.

I'm mostly use to it, but it throws me off a bit each evening when I boot up the game for the first time.

It should have PSX icons if you have steam input disabled for the game.

Which one are you using? DS5 steam can recognize as a playstation controller and this game will use PS icons. If you're using an older one and have to use ds4win or something that program is specifically tricking the game into thinking it's an xbox controller.

it should just be ps controls by default now as its officially supported by windows and steam. Make sure you have not set ds4w to emulate a 360 controller, in general for some reason I am finding that app does not play nice with this game so im just using the native steam/in game set up and it works fine

Wired usually works fine, but bluetooth is always risky.
Just grab this. It will set the game to always use Playstation UI.
