Still I prefer this over enemies that constantly scale to you.
I just took Sprong out in 29:30 fight. Amazing fight but now I feel like I will be way overleveled for the forgotton battlefield lol and the pictos he drops is insane. Its fine though because the side content is so good. Ive been doing it all except the dark shores. Those hand-face guys are just too much for me right now still.
I went back to some old red zones and killed bosses in literally the first move.
It's a normal side affect of RPGs though, you're basically being rewarded with easy mode because you did all the other cooler content :D
and just wait for act 3, when you unlock fly and more optional content
My gameplay difficulty went significantly down since beating Sprong. That picto is busted, especially if you get it in Act 2. It snowballed hard NGL. That was the last hard boss fight i had. Everything else died in less than 5 hits or even 1 hit with the right build. Sadly Act 3/post game is scaled very badly. All the cool MF bosses are weighed down by player strength being too high.
I am thinking of doing a no leveling run once i finished the game once.
I figured this might be the case after I equipped that Pictos he dropped. My Verso solo's entire battles now turn 1. Forgotten battlefield was essentially a joke- I had to skip a few of my turns just so I wouldn't kill that cool dual blade boss in 2 cycles and not see any of his attacks.
I will see how the game feels switching up to expert difficulty but im not expecting too much of a difference. It's fine though, I like that the game allows players to become so strong if they overcome certain challenges early, but Power-creep could dull the combat after awhile.
Guess I will go check out those hand-face guys again and see how I do. Golgra still scares me so leaving her alone for now lol
Yea power creep happened to fast IMO. I dont mind doing 100 mil DMG but make it AFTER the hardest content. Not when i start act 3 FFS. The final ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss was a joke because of that. Lost all cinematic power. Sure i could self nerf myself, but why not just include a DMG limit before beating Act 3? I still like min maxing but i also like cinematic boss fights.
