Then maybe change the driver? Having the same GPU and running ultrawide mod. All maxed out. Barely any fps drops and then not into the 60s.
With that GPU I expect the rest of your PC to be quite on the upper end, too, so I am suprised about that performance at that resolution.
Yeah, the VRAM will become a limiting factor quite soon. At least they do not run with 8GB VRAM anymore ;) I mean, the only reason to buy that card is hoping for DLSS 4 support, as it barely tops the 4070TI.

And yeah, they're probably all testing in the intro (which has been the most demanding area in my experience) but the game doesn't magically double in framerate later on. 5090 goes from ~70fps with some drops into the low 60s in the intro to ~100fps with some drops into the 80s and highs around 110fps in later areas and the open world.
Because i always got rock stable 60fps...

Yeah that card is surprisingly decent still if you don't care about ray-tracing. FSR or Xess can pick up some slack too.
