Very poor optimization
Very choppy graphics and very poorly optimized game. The stuttering on a super computer is just insane.

Under no circumstances is your comp top tier, OP. The more embarrassing, and possible truth, is that you do actually have a decent rig, but it's garbage because you don't know anything about how to optimize your system. You can usually get a sense of widespread technical issues based on the volume of posts sharing similar issues, but when you're an outlier, which you are, that should tell you something.

Wow it seems this game attracts very toxic people...

Don't expect to be coddled when you claim hyperbolic things about a game most people aren't having issues with. Claiming to know a supercomputer doesn't run it well is obviously going to provoke both the people who find it runs just fine on their non-supercomputers and those with high end systems.

You started a toxic thread by talking out of your backside. It would be different if the game was an incomplete buggy mess on release which it isn't.

$2k+ PC crowd explaining games aren't unoptimized because their NASA computers can run the game at basic-ass 60 FPS lmfao

Just because a game doesn't perform to whatever unrealistic standard you think they should doesn't mean they're "unoptimized" lol

Well above the recommend specs are the game handles very poorly. It is a very unoptimized game it seems.....

Can play Monster Hunter Wilds fine at 150 fps but this game seems to be have a stuttering problem.....

What settings and resolution? Your GPU isn't fast enough for native 4K in either game so you're leaving out some pretty important information here.

Its just how Unreal 5 is, and this one is probably the most optimized UE5 game yet, It have a fairly poor performance on AMD cards its true, the lack of DLSS is a problem, but XeSS gets the job done, also its a story drive turn based RPG, you dont need more than 60fps for this
OP just wants to report people for being disrespectful. Nothing to see here folks.

A high end PC is 5k+
2k gets you a lower middle range system.

If a 2k system to you is a NASA computer it suggests you don't know what you're talking about and might also have a very outdated rig, in which case you shouldn't expect it to be able to handle the newest gaming engines using the latest technology that your PC doesn't support.

4080, 4k, no issues here either, game runs butter smooth and looks fantastic.

You are very rude. Amd 7600x, 7900gre. Very very poor optimization and a very cruel and rude fanbase.....

Turn off AMD's Anti-Lag in the drivers software. It makes is a stuttering mess on AMD cards.

Also if you are trying to play at 4K, don't, your system is not up to par for 4k gaming.

I think unreal is known for being very unoptimized... and overrated....

3060 12gb vram. ryzen 5 5600, 32gb ram. 55fps on high settings with dlls quality. no stuttering at all. what are you talking about? Or by "super computer" you mean intel pentium and gtx 980?
Anyways for my system:

RX 5800x
RTX 3080 12GB
32 GB Ram

Game settings:
High on everything, except for Textures at Epic
DLSS Quality
2560x1440
Used engine.ini tweeks to increase view distance and LOD

I'm getting 88 average FPS, with the 1% lows at 80 FPS.
No stutter at all.

The game is actually pretty well optimized.

The OP is either trying to play at 4K, or playing at too high of settings for his PC, or he has AMD's Anti-Lag turned on, or any combination of those.

You just going to ignore the people asking for more information?
That's mostly Unreal problem. I wouldn't say the game is poorly optimised, but I think they should've polished it a bit more. I've downloaded the most downloaded optimise mod from nexus mods and it dropped GPU usage by 10-15% on average without any messing with visuals (or imperceptable changes to visuals)
I have solid 60fps on 1080p with settings all maxed and TSR on High with Ryzen 5700X3D and RX 7800 XT, 16gb ram
max settings with some ini tweaks to push things further at 4k and I get a smooth 60+ FPS

4080
5800X3D
NVME
32gb of ram
