Can't Heal Gustave or Verso in combat.

Like at all. At the beginning of the game, sure Gustave's Recovery ability or his From Fire ability was working fine but somewhere towards the end of act 1 it just stopped working on Gustave. Now I have Verso and it's still not working. It does the animation and I get "perfect" on the cast every time but the character just doesn't heal back health.

At first I though I was being stupid with not understanding the Recovery Ability's tooltip: Recovers 50% Health and dispels Status Effects.
Gives 0-2 charges.
I thought it wasn't healing because I was above 50% health but nope... Even at 10%hp it didn't work.

Even if I tell Lune to use her Healing Light it just DOES NOT WORK on Verso or Gustave. Nor does using an actual potion. I reiterate: even using a potion does not heal these men. Every other character I have no problem healing in combat and I am forced to use an Elixir outside of combat because that's the only thing that heals these two dudes other than rest.

I haven't found much on this issue and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this. Bug or...?

Check your pictos. If you've got for example Confidence equipped it gives you 50% less damage - in return for removing your ability to gain health.

Have you got a picto or lumina equipped that prevents healing? I recall there being one or two of those around.

This. Yep. I had the Confident Pictos equipped on Gustave and it also put it on Verso. Thank you! I Mustve just seen the dmg decrease and just choose it without reading the penalty :D

Over Confidence and INVERTED do this. Inverted also damages you for same value which is more fun ;P
