So sad i'm playing on Gamepass but this game is really amazing.
Not only it made me love turn based game again.
It still requires my ultra fast response that i usually used in Souls-like games, so it's still action-ish for sure.
The story so far are so sooo good.
The musics especially ahh so nice.
It got light exploration but every bits were rewarding and OMG it even got bonfire in it which revives enemies when we rest (souls-like fans hello) and some estus flask too, and it got some hidden mini bosses as well like in Elden Ring.
OMG OMG OMG OMG.
10/10.!

Have some good games coming out this year like Silksong so we will see. But yeah, don't see a game like SIlksong being better than this overall.

The game is amazing I havent felt this invested in a game since Final Fantasy 10 and Legend of the Dragoon growing up.

A true masterpiece. I feel like a kid again lost in a world. Something I never thought I would feel again.

I half hope they would make Legend of the dragoon as a remake. With their ideas and expertise they could do it...

okay okay chill down. I see why you compare it to Legend of Dragoon, but "last in a world" ? Expedition 33 is a nice game, come on, its far away from Final Fantasy 10. Its not even close.

having played both FFX and Legend of Dragoon I would disagree. This is definitely along those lines m8. the story is great. The combat is EXCELLENT. The music is phenomenal. Heck it puts even FF16 to shame where that game played the same 3 songs over and over again, this game has a unique battle theme for every single zone..and they are all bangers.

It's my current GOTY, but the year isn't even halfway through yet and we got some good stuff coming out. It's a great game though.

A DS turn base game is an interesting concept. Bit easier though then DS since don't have to worry about body and camera movement. Along with stamina management when rolling. Doesn't seem like enemies have many attacks either. Most seem like they got only one or two attacks and few rare others have three.
So far I would nominate this as GOTY, best game I have played for a while. This is kind originally what I wanted the Final Fantasy games to do. Instead of changing the whole formula. Although wouldn't matter anyways since FF died a long time ago.

final fantasy x is my favorite game of all time
