I don't really like Sciel

She just sort of joins out of nowhere. I've had her for 7+ hours now and I still feel zero attachment to her. The other characters have been interesting and contribute but she's just sort of 'there'. Out of everyone I feel like she has the least amount of purpose in the group.

Its always like this if you get out of nowwhere another playable character even you actually dont need one. But she is actually pretty strong. Definitely much stronger than Maelle at the time of the story.

Oh, I don't mean combat-wise. I've used her and she's strong as hell. I just don't like her character and her place (or lack there of) in the story.

Yea she is like a black sheep. Dont know if you noticed it, but actually nobody in the team ever talked to her in the whole game. ^^ But she is always here are there to throw out a comment :)

She is only pretty close to Lune.

I have noticed a lot of holes in the dialogue tbh.

For example no one really spoke to anyone besides Gustav throughout Act 1, and Gustav would then talk to the others to link them all to the conversation. It never really feels like the group is having a discussion. But rather they talk at each other.

i really like her design and character itself but yeah she doesnt really add much to the story as much as the others now that i really think about it

Same. She's also really, really inappropriate in her flirting with Gustave, who has lost Sophie just a few days ago and then most of his expedition. I've read that she's one of the strongest fighters of the playable characters, but I just don't like her at all. She's flighty, flirty, uncaring and very superficial.

I also just don't understand her fighting style, but that's after having to understand first Lune and then Maelle... there's a limit of how many stances, combinations and boni I can remember!

Disagree, I think Sciel fits in well as the motherly optimist of the group and things would feel a lot more cynical without her around. Camp conversations help to flesh her out a bit more too.

She's just like all and an equally important member of Expedition 33, and no one cares if you like her or not. As for the little one, the grown-up idiots shouldn't have taken her on the expedition at all.

Tbh, every playable characters except Versos and Maelle feels like just being there for the sake of gameplay(include Gustave), they have no character growth, not much portray about personality, not even important in the whole story

I felt the same about her at first, but she gets a lot of character development later through camp interactions, so make sure you check that out when it comes up

I don't have a problem with her gameplay, but she has an awful face and personality. I think what bothers me the most is her disingenuous smile. Giving her short curly hair makes her at least Simi tolerable. But I'm not motivated to play as her
