Damage limit opinion
Personally the biggest downside for me right now with this game is the damage cap set on 9999, this prevents you from pushing those extreme 1 hit dmg to the limit into 1 shots and instead makes u focus on multiple hits skills that each go for 9999 instead.

There is apparently something later on that fixes this.
Later in the game you get a picto that removes the damage limit.
The story bosses are already a joke. Getting the picto to remove the limit before you finish the game would make you one hit every story boss. Its good as it is.

yea but comparing to how the devs impressed me with their creativity and in general with this game the damage cap feels lazy sadly, but at least they have damage cap remover later on from what people are saying so i am excited for that.
The picto is only 5 luminas went u got it and learn it and u need this for the last boss after complete main quest (yes u can see the 200k damage easy ) :D
we really get the best of both worlds here: in the end game you can and basically need to remove it with pictos while in the early and mid it keeps stuff from being completely oneshottable (for the most part)

Tbf you can do side content and 1 shot the act 2 final boss if you don't have a damage limit. It's there to keep the cinematic vibe.

It also makes sense thematically. There's a reason why you can't be too strong in act 2 due to story reasons.
