Endgame bosses are a whole different breed.
After beating the game, I wanted to beat all of the remaining bosses around the map, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are they REALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥ HARD. I fought a boss fight in the Endless Night Sanctuary area and it took me 35 minutes to beat it because of the ridiculous health pool that it had. Got some great rewards though, so it was worth it. The game really wants you to kinda grind out for max weapon lvls for some of these boss fights because no way in hell should that boss fight have taken me 35 minutes lol.

Yeah. Before the final fight I decided to check side content - tried for an hour to kill a boss in a crimson forest and failed.

Simon is the strongest boss in the whole game. Maybe you should tried a different boss next time, like the snake which gives you a second turn picto.

How do you get to Simon? Haven't seen him, I've been just farming overworld Chromatic bosses. I know that I haven't beaten Alicia, Simon, Clea and the boss that needs 3 parts or whatever it was (in the painted workshop I think it was).
Alicia can be found if you talk to Maelle in the camp. Its part of her relationship quest. You should see the mark on the world map. (west of the Monolith)

Clea is in the Flying Manor. (south west island of the Monolith)

3 parts are all over the world. You need to find the mirrors / gallerys (whatever they call it). You should definitely see the icon on the map.

Simon is in the Renoirs Draft. (north of Old Lumiere underwater)

ps.: Sorted it from easiest to hardest :)

Do the endless tower if you want to level up quickly and level up your weapons and pictos. After that, the rest of the continent bosses should be much easier. I went to flying manor after and the bosses there will drop the chromatic upgrade for weapon lvl 33.

I got Clea down earlier. My damage on Maelle is wild. The only real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ part of that fight is the Bourgeon because it decided to eat me when I tried a solo attempt instantly killing the run. I believe the only reason it happens here is because of back up party members in reserve. If every single character was already dead I don't think the attack would spawn because its literally an I win button if you try her solo.

Yeah i don't think the game has an issue with having a no win scenario, against Sirene if all your characters get charmed you just instantly lose the fight, even if they are still alive so i feel they have no issue with just having you get a game over

Uhh, Simon isn't in the Endless Night Sanctuary.
How do you find them all? I was interested in going back and trying some of those huge bosses I saw (and ran away instead of fighting), but there is NO way I am going to spend hours trying to remember where they are, then wandering around for hours looking for them.

Some type of mapping system is so badly needed (I would have put a pin saying like "come back and try this boss later).
I'm just gonna finish the story campaign and call it a day. Not really in the mood of grinding to level up weapons to deal with artificial health sponges.

If I can mod in the levels and items to skip the boring grind to take a stab at the bosses, I'll maybe do that.

Everyone I had was immune to charm for that fight because of the picto from optional boss. I wanted to give the game the benefit of the doubt then I tried the other end game boss and realised he also had an I win button XD

I had the exact same experience when i started Act 3, but i ended up going back to Frozen Hearts and leveling up from like 50 to 75, after that i beat Sprong and got the best pictos from him, and since then i've been able to handle everything else in the end game!
