Game to movie adaptations are generally horrible because Hollywood either doesn't respect the source material, or just casts the wrong people who also don't care. There are some outliers mind you, but generally, it ends up poorly and just makes people hate Hollywood even more. The game itself is a movie at times, I don't know why we'd need a movie at all.
