can you ever level up pictos?
I don't mean mastering it after 4 battles, but leveling them up like you do weapons.

no, but sometimes after a fight you may get a levelled up version of a picto you already own. However only the stats on the picto are stronger, the passive effect it gives you stays the same.

Not really. You might find upgrades after certain battles that makes them higher level, but you cannot do that manually.
