Can we get a sequel?
I've not finished the game yet, but I truly love the game, I dread the moment when I finish the game, I will ofc play it again, but I was wondering, without anyone spoiling anything, will they be able to make a sequel with a continuation on this story and characters or it the game over at the end of it?

Let's say the setting is big enough for that.

Awesome, I really hope they're considering making a sequel then.
Finish the game first then you know there will be no sequel.

Really got me hooked and there is so much to do and to experiment and the environment the ost the enemies everything is so damn well made.
Honestly I don't think it's a good sequel material.

Mystery and uniqueness of the world do a lot of heavy lifting here and you going to lose it in a sequel.

Unless they drastically expand on the lore a sequel won't work. Hardly anything that happens is explained or fleshed out, you just have to accept that is the way things are.

Not an expedition sequel but a Claire Obscure sequel is very easy to conceive. The world and potential is massive

I found it easy to comprehend the entire plot and what works and how, you seem to lack reading comprehension

Pretty much, this is one of those games that only really works the first time around, granted once you know whats going on you start to pick up on some of the things people said so a second playthrough would give you a different perspective on things, but i don't think a followup game would really work

the setting is big enough for endless sequals and prequels and other stories.

Worlds VERY big.
Prequel or sequel, I'm not picky. Either ending certainly leaves room for more and I would definitely like more :)

They have enought material for a Sequel that's for sure - but not an Expedition sequel, more like a Clair Obscure sequel.

Would be good if they go for an approach at the Writer's Guild , showing all the lore and the characters at that side. Could even be a whole story just at it, and then integrating with Alicia, Renoir, Clea and Aline - considering Verso's ending is the true ending.

A lot of content and a whole world to be explored. :)
One of the writers said that a DLC is not impossible, given the success of the game. So more content for the current game seems to a distinct possibility.

As for a proper sequel... there's more than enough material here. But if that sequel will involve the exact same characters or setting (Lumiere)... unknown. They could certainly find ways to do that... or maybe the sequel would just be set in the same universe, but with new characters and a new setting.
That would be awesome though after finishing both endings I am not sure what that sequel might be.

Then again now that I say that some ideas popped into my head. They could also easily explore Other paintings/worlds

We don't need sequels. We just need good creative games with original ideas like this one.
