Ultimate Sakapatate
Is it normal I am doing like 3mm damage on his health bar for every attack?

It feels like this fight is going on forever and that I am underpowered but I have upgraded best weapons as far as possible and tried to scale attributes to match.

Just wondering am I missing something here or are these boss fights meant to be very slow progress?

You have to understand that you are not dealing with just an ordinary sakapatate, but an Ultimate Sakapatate, hitting a sakapatate is an artform, which only certain sakapatates among sakapatates know.
Among sakapatates there is a certain community of sakapatates, which would possess this information about sakapatates hitting other sakapatates, but it's not very well known to humans.
The problem with your damage is that you're just not enough sakapatate and definitely killing an Ultimate Sakapatate is almost impossible for a notsakapatate as yourself.

It's been awhile since I did that fight but if I remember correctly you have to parry him reliably so you can break him. Once broken you will shred his health bar.
Use fire.

Ah thanks, yeah I have avoided parry completely in this game, even though in souls games I love parrying. That is the problem there I guess as I was using fire and it makes no difference really

You dont need parry use fire and use skills that break. Unless of course you enjoy parry :)

While i understand the desire to ignore parrying since it is probably safer to dodge, I would whole heartedly urge you to try to learn it. The main reason being you are missing out on free damage from countering enemies and bosses. There have been times where a full party parry has let me either delete half a bosses health bar or push the break gauge to full. I'm not the best gamer by any stretch but I've essentially made it to the point where I haven't touched the dodge button since the tutorial and now if I take hits and didn't parry it, I've been able to build my def to not die in 7 or 8 hits.

It isn't that I have not used parry, I just have avoided it as it isn't like it is as good as in souls games where it is super satisfying and feels worth getting the timing on.

However I will make more effort to use it more often

Thank you, this is truly helpful and inspiring

Beated him yesterday, I'm super bad with the parry so I just dodged his attacks and burned him to crisp, also breaked his weak point the moment I had the chance.

Awhile? The game barely came out, calm down.
