UI Options, esp. Damage Numbers?

I'm considering to buy the game but I'm quite annoyed by the damage numbers I see plopping up on enemies in the videos I watched. Can this "feature" be disabled? Are there other UI options to make the game a bit less informing and more "immersive"?

I loaded up the game to check for you - that's a no. No option to turn them off.
UI options I see are Subtitles, Tutorials and automatic QTE's. Not many UI options.
I don't like damage numbers either. Hopefully they give the option to toggle in a future update

Don't know wether it removes also damage numbers, hopefully it does.

Might have to be careful with what you hide, since if you see nothing you won't ever know if an enemy is weak or immune to somethin.
