Game not saving

Hey, So i don't know if this is intended or not. Every time i die in game I have to start from the start of the game (the title screen) and last night i made heaps of progress (3 hrs worth so not that much) i closed the game like normal after resting at a flag thingy. I launched it this morning and i can only pick 'New Game' can someone just let me know if this is meant to happen or is my game simply broken. ALSO whenever i close the game i get a crash notification from another app.

Seems like a permissions error with where the game wants to save (C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\SaveGames\number). Make sure that area isn't Read Only for some reason. As for the crashes, always verify files and then give more info if the crashing persists afterwards.

So I can't find Sandfall at all. I don't know if im doing something wrong. I verified my files and it said all was verified so assume. It's just something that shouldn't be happening.
I moved it from my SSD - HDD to see if that would work still the same problem. Though I don't see how having it on my SSD would make a difference with the files not work.

You just unlocked the perma death difficulty.

Honestly. No save, No death, One run only unlocked. Closing the game? oh you mean giving up! RESTART!

May have found a fix. Something is messed up with your AppData folder or your antivirus is blocking it for some reason, try setting the game exe to run as admin and see if that allows it to save. Would normally not suggest running any game as admin, but seems to work for some other people.

I just uninstalled it the game to reinstall it. I'm hoping this fixes it but if it doesn't i will try to run it as admin. Thank you for your help so far Vaedron

OKAY! so i unstalled and reinstalled, Tried to run as admin, Tried to run with DX11 have tried to hunt for these files AND NOTHING. YALL WHAT AM I MEANT TO DO.
I just wanna save my progress T^T it doesn't even save my settings i have to change them every time i start the game.
