I did managed to beat it after a few retries when I delayed jumping after the yellow flash. But yeah, it is misleading and most likely a bug. Now I can't help but wonder, for all of the people that are having issues with parrying, are their timings off or are they experiencing similar bugs?
The flash of light isn't the exact timing to jump, it's a warning that the attack coming can only be avoided by jumping so I agree it's a bit misleading. But the bug we're talking about is AOE attacks that can be dodged/parried where 2/3 characters successfully dodge/parry but the 3rd doesn't even though all 3 do the animation. Our timing can't be off if the other 2 characters dodge or even parry and counterattack.
