it's just the enemy animations are harder to read. lots of sudden movements, projectiles that start slow and then pick up speed. it's sort of the opposite of how animations are done in other games and what you'd expect them to look like. feels intentional.
i think it's actually better if you have the reaction speeds to react, but a lot of us are definitely getting skill checked.
good thing you can just memorize the timings. there's no variation in the attacks and the game even announces which attack the enemy is going to do.
if parry dont works try dodgt first the window is better and when you got the right spot for a perry , dodge shows "perfekt" sadly later bosses need be parryd to kill em. without you dont do enough dmg. at some point i did with normal attacks like 500 dmg and with a parry counter 9999 instead.
If you spend some time in analyzing the attacks you'll get a feel for their rythm (by lack of a better word). Granted, some attacks are easier than others, but you wouldn't want an I WIN button would you?
I don't want to dumb down the game cause I can't get parry dodge timings. I don't want the challenge to lie in mastering button press timings. This isn't supposed to be a hardcore action game.
You didn't make the game so you don't get to dictate what kind of game it is though lol
