White Nevrons: Kill or Ignore?

They feel like a fomo situation. After saving/doing the quests for the white friendly Nevrons, should you kill or ignore them? Anything for saving them all? No need for spoilers, especially if story related, just a simple answer is all that's needed.

Ignore them once you're done with their quest. Killing them is "unproductive" ; )

Later on I received a lot of materials outside from their corpses, killed the first two, now I stop killing the rest, should have never started it. Let just say my crew changed their mind.
