I know the water area is easy to track where I've been by looking up.
I love the lack of UI and map while traveling the world. Makes me explore every corner.
Yup. There is clear land markings in the background to help push you forward or towards secrets. I do get turned around a little myself but only briefly. I think a mini map would ruin this game honestly.
I said nothing about yellow paint. I don't need identifiers to show me exactly what to climb, etc. Just a mini-map of some sort to help with orientation.
But overall, the sakatakapate (however you say it) battleground has so far been the only place that has felt like a maze.
feels like the old text adventures (books) where you jumped between pages and had to take notes. So far my brain is enough.
