So, when is the window then? Because it's definitely working fine for me. I've tried dodging when they are halfway through their fall. I've tried dodging before they start falling. I've tried it just as they start falling. I've tried doing it when they stop stumbling towards me. I've tried jumping during all of those times, I've tried parrying during all of those times.
Hit by the attack every time. It's pretty hard to "git gud" or whatever when I can't even seem to find the timing window I'm supposed to be aiming for. It's like handing a blind man a bow and telling him to shoot the target, then acting surprised when he doesn't even know what target you're asking him to shoot.
In other games, the timing window you're aiming for is quite obvious. There is a weapon headed for you. Don't let it hit you. Finding the timing window on this attack is like trying to play a rhythm game with your monitor and sound turned off.
