With likeable good looking, sexy characters and a story which doesnt preach at you at every oppertunity how evil man are, which pronoun you must use or is afflicted by the eternal girl-boss syndrome. We are so starved in fact that an unknown studio with an unknown franchise sells 1 million copy's in under a week(Expedition 33), dominate all charts as soon word gets out that there is nothing catered to "modern audiences", and just want to have players a good time, and another game in the top sellers is a remake(Oblivion) from a better time, when al this diversity/inclusion nonsense didnt matter. It is so refreshing to see that the characters in Exepedition 33 having a nice dynamic without petty remarks all the time and with players not giving the urge to set the cast on fire, and i am not alone.....evidently people are throwing money at and sing praises of a game that takes them serious and is not wasting their investment(time,money,effort), or ridicule them at every oppertunity.

We have done this diversity experiment for over a decade now and billions of dollars have been wasted that could have improved lifes or fund the most amazing games, the gamer community has been never so divided with the inclusion mantra only functioning as a repellant, making us going at each others throat as soon there is a mention of a body type. Can we just go back to making good games now?, and just admit it has failed?, like so many studios catering to this stupidity have gone up in smoke. Can we just admit that there is no "modern audience" safe for a small terminal online crowd obfuscating public opinion by posting from several puppet accounts at the same time?. Can we please go back to healthy escapism where man and women can be tough likable heroes that save worlds?, and dont have the suspension of disbelief shattered like a bubble as soon as they open their mouth. That there is only male and female and that trans and non binary people are a rarity instead of a baseline. That most people don't care what you believe in, as long as you are a pleasant person to game with. That fanservice, eroticsism, violence is not something that makes a person warped but actually healthy and is serving as an outlet. Make games for gamers again, and give artists a change to give birth to their dreams and for us to experience them.

I hate to use this game as a orange box and a stepping stool, because it deserve so much more than to be pulled i an stupid culture war. But some people can only be convinced when evidence is breathing in their faces.

I think it's beyond telling how none of the people that talk like you have any level of consistency to what is considered problematic, but you keep banding together to just complain because it makes you feel better even when the people next to you aren't even actually agreeing with you.

People that do know what is dei or woke, and what isnt, are in most cases consistent.

people that want to try to sabotage the early acceptance of this game, are people angry because it lack the tropes and framing they want to force in everything.

Sorry, but as old, white, straight CIS male, I never felt that any game (including Veilguard for example) tried to preach anything to me. I felt never hurt by wording like body type. If you have that impression, than the problem is in your head!

That's because "people like him" are not monolith . They have different opinions on this, duh.

This game is so refreshing to play. If feels authentic. Some people had artistic vision and followed it without corporate overlods watching over the shoulder.

I think the smallest things set people off now. If somebody nitpicked at you all the time, you get to notice it more, so when they cut it out then a month later they nitpick once, it blows up in your head.

TBH though, I'm not far enough into the game to see any.
