Isn't the game a bit too easy?

I just finished Act 1, I play on the medium difficulty and the game seems to be extremely easy so far, especially with all the potions and super strong spells.

How is that game on hard?

It feels average for a JRPG, but for how much complaining is happening on the board it's very easy. I mean you just restart in front of the enemy for the most part if you do die...

JRPGs are more or less a balance the game by not over leveling experience. If you're smashing and don't like it turn up the difficulty or stop farming xp or both.

I have never farmed XP in this game, I just play the game lol. You can literally dodge, parry, counterattack, you have tons of potions available, tons of crazy strong spells available, etc.

I was having a lot of issues playing endgame in Metaphor so I went for medium difficulty in this game, but it seems too easy, it might perhaps get harder along the way, but so far it seems too easy.

its not a JRPG.. It's a RPG.

Judging from videos with expeditioner and story difficulties - everything below Expert is pretty much tutorial mode in this game

Act one was the tutorial dude, after you start roaming around you will get dogged by a few gimmick bosses, there are even bosses you have to come back to later.

What did you get? there were red paintings inside that room, we have to do something?

It definitely gets more challenging if you're not over leveling. Expeditioner might be too easy for you but surely expert won't if you want more challenge.

I didn't beat the game yet, so maybe the paintings will have a meaning, but I didn't get anything from those.

I just got some suit for Verso, I think the level 33 stone for weapon and when I talked to the NPC next to the gauntlet frame, I also got a vinyl record I think. Or maybe it was actually from the last stage lol, can't remember, but the NPC game me something as well.

EDIT: I also got an achievement for it lol.

It's super easy if you're fast enough to parry everything...but I'm not, so I really struggled vs the Chromatic Lancelier, had to retry like 8 times! (Normal level)

Some enemies are definitely super weird to parry, I am having a lot of issues with the cloaked guy with the 2 big hands.
