Even when you lose a major fight, it doesn't feel bad
Well, maybe if you've tried a hundred times, but this is one game where if I lose when the Duallist has 5% left once his second sword appears, and everything feels fine. The game really is that incredible that losing has one nice thing about it: It extends the length of this incredible game, and you get to experience the fight with better knowledge.

Not to mention, my skill set up was terrible. My fault for the loss straight up.

I sorta see what you mean. The experience learned in fights is always valuable.
Information is as much a weapon in your arsenal as everything else. When one falls, we continue. Tomorrow comes.
dont matter

sounds like a skill issue

git gud
yeah i'm really liking it, maybe just getting lucky though. Also sure gradually gets more intense. So much might later change my opinion on it. Right now seems challenging and fun.
It can't hurt to approach the game with a Soulslike mentality. Anyone who complains that the game is too difficult should try fighting Genichiro in Sekiro. After that, Expedition 33 feels like a relaxing game.
