Solution for "Fatal Error" Crash for AMD GPU users

I'm running the game on my AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT. I kept getting crashes every 5 minutes after the intro chapter.

Finally Installing older AMD Driver (Adrenalin 24.2.1) solved the issues for me.
The game shows a warning about old driver on first startup but I had no issues. Game looks fine and runs smoothly.

I hope this will also work for some of you guys!

Newer isn't always better. If the latest drivers create issues going back a version doesn't hurt. Solid advice indeed.

i was having problem with this older version as well, the only thing that really worked for me was use dx 11, but the performance is not the best using it

I also tried this but the game looked REALLY bad compared to dx 12, dx 11 probably cannot handle some of the shaders or something.

Thanks, I'm on 7800 XT and this helped for me. Before the game was unplayable, kept crashing every 5 minutes.
Had to lock windows updates and deal with unsupported driver warning every time I run any game, but now the game works fine!

I have the same problem with an AMD radeon rx 6800xt. I try to reinstall the drivers you mentionned, did a system file checker repair of corrupted files and it's Still happening. What is strange is that i played fine during the four first days and All of a sudden, it crashes all the time 🤔
