AMD FSR support in future updates?

No idea, but in the meantime you can use optiscaler to force FSR. Been using it since I started playing and has been working great so far.

Thanks, this got me from ~60 fps to over 140 without any noticeable change in image quality. There is some annoying flicker that happens pretty frequently though when talking to npcs.

just use AFMF 2.1 quality mode unless you are on a Nvidia GPU then they have a equal feature through the driver.

How do you get it to work in the game?
I downloaded the file, extracted it to the game folder and used the .bat file which supposedly "installed" it, and when i go ingame im supposed to press "insert" and a menu should pop up? Im not seeing anything.

You have to put it in the Expedition 33\Sandfall\Binaries\Win64 folder and then run the bat file, pick 1 for every option and then it should work when you hit insert. You have to select DLSS in the game settings for it to work.
