You're right about that, what attracted me to the game was that Lune was barefoot throughout the game and that's what motivated me to check it out more in depth as the gameplay and story made me end up playing it on Gamepass.

I wish more games would encourage to show barefoot girls, it would appeal to this kind of audience which I include myself, but it seems like the big publishers are scared of it.

i can imagine that the devs knew what they where doing here. on the other hand, not everything has to be bc of sex sells. some people just like to be barefoot. in her case it makes sense because she can float.

I have no hard data, but my guess is the foot fetish people are a miniscule percentage of the population and they would not ever boost sales of anything in any meaningful way. :-D

This was probably (almost certainly) an entirely artistic decision, probably because Lune uses her powers to levitate, she also has these pictos engraved into her skin, she probably needs the energy to flow freely, hence short trousers and no shoes for her default outfit. Kind of like elves are often depicted barefoot in fantasy.
