How are you building your characters?
Hello!

I've been playing this game and I'm loving it so far but I'm having doubts about the characters stats. I've been setting the main stats for Gustave in Might and Vitality, but his weapons and habilities maybe will work better with luck and defense.

How are you building yours?

I just keep 'em evenly distributed so far. No particular reason other than to cover all my bases.

Not yet. I'm saving them up.

Yeah same, I did not have any problems regarding the characters, but I was "worried" that in the future the problems will come up.

I just put the points in the stat that has the highest letter at the time. I understand it changes are you change weapons, but so far it does not seem like it makes a material difference
for me, mostly might and agility for Gustave
and spread even with 2 leftover points per level to vitality, defense, or luck

with Lune i focus on defense and vitality, with remaining 2 points going to might and agility with a point into luck every other level

I literally did the same for Gustave. But, for his weapons, it looks like his main stat is defense or luck.
I went for speed, luck and a Bit defense on Gustave to utilize his arm and crit mechanics on some skills, then Speed and vitality on Luna because i treat her like a healer so i naturally want her fast and tanky. The others are on might and vitality
kind of all the same, mostly HP, strengh, and agility. I don't do much defense and chance, I prefer combats to be quick and violent.
I just put a bit more defense and less strenght on Lune because I'm using her for healing, but I almost never put her in my team lol
Evenly distributed with a focus on luck and agility.

I have Maelle running defense for the team. I'm in act 2 and her defense is 240 while everyone else is around 50 lol. Maelle has that ability that absorbs damage from everyone. with a picto that reduces all damage by 50%.
HP,speed,def 1 tried all the main bosses so far.
everything to vitality and defence for everyone, except maelle gets vitality and agility. damage is more than enough without any kind of investment already, its the damage taken thats bad at least in hard mode.
I put all my points into HP and DEF. All story bosses die on first try. Optional bosses may need few attempts.
I prioritized speed and then defense and it's been great for me. I get to go early and often. Once you get the first strike picto you can let the enemies initiate and you get 2 full turns before they can act. Most enemies are dead before they get a turn.
Went balls to the wall full luck so far, with luck scaling weapons, not very forgiving on misses but it is being fun critting every other hit, With critical burn pictos I almost never see a normal hit on burning enemies.
