Bad performance on RTX 3070 laptop

Hello i am having trouble with this game, with any combination of graphical settings or resolution the games seems to have very bad framerate, dipping far below 30 fps in the starting area. My pc is a gaming laptop with an RTX 3070 and an i7-11800H CPU, 16 GB RAM. What could be causing this? Please help i would really like to play this game

Try verifying the files or reinstalling.

Im using a 4070 laptop AMD 7840hs with 32gb ram. Im playing at high settings with dlss quality 1440p with no issues

Check your temps maybe your laptop is throttling. I'm playing on I7 12700H, RTX 3060 laptop with high settings and dlss set on quality, getting mostly stable 60 fps.
