*MINOR SPOILERS* Demineur Question
Does anybody know if there's a reason to not attack Demineur (or the guy with the light request earlier) once you got the mine it wanted? I looked online, and couldn't find out if there's a downside to not fighting them?

I'm not sure if this is just like an optional "boss" fight or if at some point they're used more, or the game recognizes I let them live? Just sort of seems a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up to help them out, and then kill them haha. So wanted to make sure in case somebody actually knows.

Thanks for reading!

Well, my reason for not doing so is that it's a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up to help them out and then kill them when they're being peaceful with you.
I'll find out sooner or later, I just helped them then murdered every single one of them and haven't suffered a consequence yet, only "consequence" right now is I got extra rewards XD
@Null:

Yeah I felt the same, but my morality gives way to loot haha. If I can get an epic reward for kicking a puppy. That puppy is getting kicked. I just need to know if there's a reason to actually not kick the puppy besides my morality lol.

@Hideyuki191:

Hahaha if you do actually find out something, please come back here and let us know! As right now I'm going to pursue the route of no narrative dissonance and keep them alive. Just in case, since the game seems to clearly give you an option to not do so.
You get achievement and more of the lumi orb if you keep them alive for the later side quest you can come back and kill them afterwards.
Found these responses on a different thread related to this.

ShadowLL:

Its postgame
Once you complete the game, you will get a reward for every you saved

Somewhere in postgame locations

Darmon:

There is a location on the world map called The Fountain. At this location is one of the many white Nevron’s you will find on your journey, but this one is different.

This Nevron will talk with the player about previous interactions with the white Nevrons. If you choose NOT to attack the white Nevrons, it will reward the player with Colour of Lumina, the item used to increase Lumina Points for characters.
copy-paste from internet knowledge

So think I'm just gonna keep them alive then.
