The 'Gestral Beach Rafting Volley Club' Game is WAY to hard
Especially when the inputs aren't properly recognized. It happens way too often that nothing happens when I try to shoot back. Whether it's on the controller or the keyboard, often no shot comes out. And with the amount of Gestrals shooting at you and the precise timing required in the last game, it's just impossible to win and it drives me insane.

Please, dear developer, please fix this.

Just the post I'm looking for, just reach this the 'normal' gestral is fine, but the 'strongest' is just ridiculous. The recovery animation from our attacks is too long
It's not just hard, it's unfair and broken af. Most of the times, pressing F does nothing and the raft goes down in 3 hits. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs must have used Quantic Labs for testing the minigames.
That mini game was tough but there's a rhythm to it. The key to beating the last one is to stand in the middle and face the appropriate direction, holding run helps you get into position. The hit box of your melee attack is large enough that you shouldn't need to reposition yourself too much. After that it's just a matter of learning the rhythm. The little Gestrels will make a sound just before they launch themselves towards your raft. Use that as your que.
dude this minigame is so bad i LOVE hitting the gestrals inside of the cones for them to hit the raft anyway
This mini-game is quite possibly the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing I've ever seen in a game before.
From what I can see on youtube as well my game is zoomed the ♥♥♥♥ in so I can barely see where the little ♥♥♥♥ rockets are coming from.

There also seems to be a small cooldown on your attack. Couple this with having to 1. Move, 2. Postion yourself AND 3. Time your attack and voila you've got a bonafide French ♥♥♥♥ COCKTAIL. EMPHASIS ON THE ♥♥♥♥.
All of the beach games are so stupid. And ofc they made a achievement for these one -.-
It is hard and frustrating but you can do it. Try staying in the middle and hit the gestrals when they are close to the raft. If you miss one, stop and prepare for another one. Don't spam your key or you'll keep losing. Try sprinting if you have to go from left to right or the other way around fast.
The minigame is ♥♥♥♥-codded. Try limiting FPS to 30 or 60 or whatever your PC can handle with no fluctuations, you will easily beat it.

I also hate this mini game
the main issue with this minigame is the weird character controller of this game. for some reason your dash gets cancelled if you move the left stick too much, making movement in a minigame like this very clunky. my strategy was to move as little as possible and then just pray that the pattern wasnt too hard. its possible but it feels tuned exactly in a way where it doesnt quite feel good with the given character controller. also, the attack hitbox has nothing to do with the animation, its both smaller and narrower.

its aggravating and i wont lie i cursed the "guy that made this" multiple times. because they could easily have made it work better given the controls at hand, but chose not to so that its one of those minigames that make you go through all stages of rage. was i happy, when i finally beat it? yes. was it the most annoying sh*t ive done in this game so far? yes.

was it worse than the parcour? absolutely (and this minigame suffers from exactly the same thing, just bad collision, bad character controller and a parkour thats purposefully made in a way so that its harder specifically bc of the way the characters control in this game.

Don't get me wrong, I like challenges that test precise timing and endurance, but they need proper controls. Here, it feels like they artificially stretched the content without the right foundation. It’s like trying to screw in a bolt with a butter knife — possible with lots of patience and finesse, but just wrong. This game isn’t built for those kinds of maneuvers and it doesn’t fit.

i'll say that the swimsuit for this one is worth it, tbh every time i look at sciel i swoon
The mechanics are fine, it's just that the controls can be very finicky, especially on keyboard.
