More UE5 slop i guess?
RX 7800 XT, I5 14600K 32gb ram installed on nvme ssd and getting roughly 60 fps on medium settings at native resolution of 1440p. Upscaling is really becoming mandatory huh?..

Unreal Engine is the engine that drives sales of the latest PC hardware and increases hardware requirements in line with the requirements of its manufacturers.
There is a huge amount of money involved and nothing won't be able to change that.

Personally, I play on 4090@13900k and this also does not give me a guarantee for 4k at 60 fps at max settings in all current games... f....d up situation.

UE5 does drive sales of GPUs and consoles but it’s not a conspiracy. It’s simply one of the best and cheapest engines studios can use. Heavy, but there really isn’t much alternatives. A tiny number of studios can afford making their own engine. And definitely not indie/AA studios like this one.

TBF, upscale has been a requirement for awhile now. At least for 85% of people who still game on potatoes.
