But yes, the parry part is an issue for many, including me, but so far I manage and still like the game.
This one doesn't have anywhere near the mind numbing depth of character and resource management that other turn based combat games like BG3 have. So don't be put off by that label, as I was too at first and thought I made a massive mistake by not checking game tags carefully first lol

To answer your question though, probably not, no. Given the amount of combat in the game, if you don't like it, then it's probably not worth playing. The story is good, but do you want to spend 20-30 hours playing a game where you don't like the combat?
