So is leveling speed any good?
Been spamming it but honestly not seeing the point. You're still getting hit by three enemy turns.

Yes, almost required I'd say, you get hit by even more turns if you don't level speed.

So it's just to make the turns even? It doesn't really give you any bonus turns with how speedy you make someone?

I have had instances where I have gotten extra sets of turns on my chars with extra speed compared to my other chars. Though I can't be 100% certain it's related as I haven't fully tested it.

This is the same impression I've had and I keep my speed decent with all my characters.
I always thought the Speed is required to make dodges and parries easier, that you would be able to spam them faster and if you accidentally press it too soon, with higher Speed you would be able to tap dodge again sooner.

I guess I was wrong lol.

Fair enough. Just assumed it seems worthless since I'm still getting the same turn as another character which maxed out attack. Maybe I haven't dumped any stats to see impact? Not sure myself.

Probably, wouldn't think could ever double up a turn. Would be dope though

In my case right now, Lune has way more speed than the other's plus a weapon that gives boosted speed and a number of times she has gotten a second turn at the end before changing over to the enemy. I was trying to figure out how to correlated by giving her more speed than the others.

Seems like it falls under the Agility stat which far as I can remember. Said it directly effected turn speed.

So you got to play her twice before an enemy turn or between enemy turns?

I know for certain you can control who goes first via speed. The extra turns and why they occur I'm not sure. I wouldn't consider it totally worthless depending on the play style as you can set who goes first to chain attacks that have synergy with each-other.

Yes, my lune currently can go twice and it's happened numerous times before being turned over to the enemy.

Edit: To try to clarify. A round might go something like this. Lune --> Maelle --> Gustave --> Lune --> Enemy

Maybe has to do with actions then, or how many are used with a single turn. That might directly effect speed on an upcoming turn. Could effect enemies as well. If it didn't couldn't see why else it would appear random. If the speed wasn't effected in that way would always be same turn order. Although i'm sure gotta be buffs or dubuffs used as well.

Whats your speed at?
I'm enjoying having my characters set up to farm AP from parrying and dodging so unless the weapon of choice scales with speed then no.
