Just wanted to put it out there for those who care. I don't really, just wish they'd made them look a bit better lol. This is very basic looking AI work.

Loving the game otherwise, though.

And just like you said, it's a tool, and like every inventions, some can be dangerous on top of being noxious for the world and people. So maybe some tools shouldn't be displayed like that and give a massive destructive power at the tip of the finger of people, and should have laws made for it to avoid abuses or misuses.

These parallels doesn't work at all.
The damages of AI is greater than cars, although we could have more car-free area to avoid cars being overused too.
Still, it's not a reliable comparison, due to the fact it is a very extremely easy and available thing unlike cars in 1920. And unlike cars, for one user, it doesn't carry many other users at the same time in one use, and abusive usage of it in mutliple forms outrun the cars by far...
On top of destroying completely the artist industry.

Also I think people care since they're replying, you are caring a lot right now you replied multiple times, and proven your point to be wrong by doing so, losing credits to it in the motion. It's not preaching also, there is no religion or book or dogmas to preach, it's raising awareness, on a topic, related to the texture in game that has AI generated stuff all over it.

No, you're confused. I don't care about your topic. I care that you're spewing this nonsense on the game forum I want to take part in and have constructive informative discussions about the video game.

And it is kinda a religion. All artists are very similar on this topic, very cult like, very un-accepting of something they just haven't adjusted to. Guess what, jobs get replaced as tech and stuff advances. This is a fact of life. Time for a new career or adapt with the new tools instead of complaining.

Sai, if you don't care about the lives of artists and other representatives of creative professions, it doesn't mean that no one cares. But you're right that this is a forum to discuss the game, not the rights of artists. Speaking of the game, Clair Obscur kind of ignores regional pricing and thus in my region it is one of the most expensive games I have ever seen in my life. Because of the high cost, I expected this game to be a high-budget AAA game, but instead I see a lack of budget for voice acting, animations, models, and now textures. I think it's fair to say this game is some kind of scam

You missed the point. Im not saying anything of the morality of either cars or AI. My point is that AI is not going away, no matter how much people point out its damaging affects. Just like cars. AI and cars encourage laziness, and every product that does that doesnt go away..

Also it's a good point to bring up tho, it could be a solution for them to bring lorem ipsum in instead of those ai gen texts, would never bother me, it would even make me smile to see some lorem ipsum on texts in textures, I would see the graphic design reference and would find it funny and accurate.

Yep it's basically the equivalent. I imagine lots of textures in old games whose text was illegible due to pixellation was just lorem ipsum over and over again.

Have any of you people actually looked at the screenshot? Those plastered newspaper textures are clearly AI generated. Personally, I'm not getting worked up over AI assisted tooling in game development but these textures should have had another editing pass to put actual lore bits into the headlines at least.
