Verso Perfection Ranks

In order to get the rank bonuses from his skills, do you have to be on that exact rank or can you be a higher one than what it says you need to be

They should change this, its outrageous that they punish you for playing well

Since it increases his power, just make him into a ranged/basic attack character thanks to the Duallist sword. He murders everything.

I disagree. verso has the ability to lower his own rank as well as weapons that cater to specific ranks. there is a weapon that makes it impossible to get rank S and if you are running C verso you are probably using him like a support so him lowering his rank to give the team ap is good. there is also a weapon that makes it so rank is based on your health instead of other factors which means you can lower his hp toi whatever rank you want to be locked at for abilities and run verso in many different ways. especially since he seems to have the highest weapon variety in the game.

low rank support verso
B rank mark verso
Light and physical metronome verso
basic attack verso
flexible rank verso

so many possible builds because of the way its set up. I think it was masterfully executed.

That whole character just feels like half a thought mixed with a brain fart and some actual ♥♥♥♥. All of the others have their little thing and it makes sense, his is garbage. There are some options with weapons that can limit his rank range somewhat, or start him at different points. There's probably some gimmick there to utilize that and pick certain corresponding skills that can make it less annoying, but I don't plan to look into it too much until I have way more points to spend in the tree.

at late game you act twice in a row (after you defeat Sprong and get their Pictos) to get to S (first use skill to get to A and refill AP, then use skill that from A guarantees you getting to S) and i use him as support with weapon that gives half of his dmg bonus to other party members so Maelle can nuke better.

He certainly has several viavle builds tbh.

He definitely has, but I like the Overload much more.

Quick question though, does the Sprong double turn picto work together with the one weapon of Verso that gives a second turn when doing a normal attack?

Verso is probably the most boring design. His gimmick is just don't get hit bruh.

From my experience "second turn" can only be triggered once. So if you have several sources of it (for example using gradient and then using attack with second turn) - it won't stack. Twice in a row is the most you can act.

Understandable, tbh, inifinite loops would be possible otherwise.

You need to be the exact rank. The abilities that get an increase from the rank you are on, will be highlighted in yellow. The rest will have white text. If the text is yellow, it is because you have what is needed to get the bonus effect from the skill.

This goes for the rest of the characters too.

its also worth noting that every rank above D is a percentage damage increase to 200% at s rank by default. you really arnt missing much damage on the "more damage at c and b rank" skills. the A rank skills maybe but if you can stay in S rank probably just bring s rank bonus skills

I dont think its wise cuz every time you get hit you lose a rank. 4 hits and you are again on D.
