How do you use items in camp?

I know its sounds silly but u just unlocked the camp feature but the items that level up your weapons or give attribute points still cant be used, how do I use them exactly?

There will be an extra guest later that will teach or allow you to use it.

It’s not instantly available. You need to defeat next zone boss to get access to weapon upgrades.
You can also upgrade weapons a little bit if you keep fighting some specific enemies that drop weapons. Each next drop can upgrade that weapon but it’s slower that normal upgrades.
