Game runs poorly
I played roughly 1 hour and tried different things but game runs at 20 fps at minimum settings, 10 fps on the crowded area, and 20 fps on cinematics. I have a laptop with rtx 3050, i5-11300H and 16 GB RAM. Can anyone suggest anyting please? Otherwise I'll have to ask for a refund but the game seems very interesting. I also optimised files with razer cortex. Only active app is Discord to chat with friends but I'm not streaming.

No need to be a ♥♥♥♥. The min req is a 1070Ti. I seriously doubt the average person would know that a 3050 is significantly worse than a 1070Ti.

OP, it probably isn't going to work, unless you play with DLSS set to performance.

OK, thanks for the answer
Have task manager running in the background to see if it's a cpu or gpu bottleneck, but I suspect it's the cpu as I have an old one as well and that's where it limits mine.

From recent experience I can tell that the discord update from the last few weeks with the UI overhaul is an INSANE drain on cpu, just with voicechat it can go up as high as 30% cpu for me, pure nonsense. Try without it, also no open browsers, as those aren't lightweight nowadays either.

As it's a laptop, make sure you set your power settings to high performance, and play with the charger.

Might push it into playable-low territory. I don't hit 60fps either, but the game generally handles smaller chokes well.

Ok I closed Discord and did an update on Geforce drivers. Now game runs well with stable 30 fps on cinematics and around 55 fps on ultra-performance low settings. I guess the problem was the starting area, now does well. Thanks for the tips. (i also watched task manager and the CPU is the bottleneck)

I figured it might get that high, my cpu has a really similar benchmark score.

You can tinker around with the settings a bit if you want, as usual some will have minimal impact on cpu but make a big difference in visuals, though you want to recheck later when you get into battles and need the performance you can get.

This might be helpful to see what the more impactful settings are.

I would say, you can game fine-ish with that laptop, but you need to tinker more the higher you go with games.
