I use the dualshock 4 but since I don't use the dualsence I think the game doesn't change into PS buttons...
Is there a way to change this?

i had this issue, but after playing awhile you get to understand how it actually works with the skills. from top to bottom: YXA which is just triangle, square and X. and X to jump and circle to dodge. easy pattern to understand when you look at the combat layout.

Right click on game in steam. Properties. Controllers. Make sure it highlights the kind you own.
