lost save data
Today I started the game and the continue button is no longer present but only the new game, I checked the file location in C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\SaveGames and a save file is present but the game doesn't seem to see it

Same problem
Hope to find a fix to this too.
You can use this to write a report to the devs directly, I hope they'll fix this soon.

Sadly I have the same problem too and as I see it, there's no solution for this. :/
Please let us know if you find a solution. I also have the same problem :steamsad:

My solution.....
-start new game, game will create new save.
-return to title screen.
-There will be an option to continue.
-ALT+TAB
-go to save location ("C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\SaveGames\number?????)
-in backup folder rename last save file to EXPEDITION_0.sav
-copy last save file(EXPEDITION_0.sav) and SavesContainer.sav in backup folder
-replace in ("C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\SaveGames\number?????)
-open game.
-continue.
***I hope this helps***
ps.sorry for my english

I don't know if I did it right, but aparently it didn't work. The "SavesContainer.sav" file has the date of the save I've just created to do the process. I think that is the reason.

This solution works.

Do not rename the file that was just created when you started the new game.

Instead make a copy and rename the file above (you will notice its a larger file than the newly created one) then copy that file and the SavesContainer.sav file and paste that into the folder ("C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\SaveGames\number?????")

Thank you jojojack988!
