Dead party members gain exp?

Anyone know? I don't really want to redo a boss because I failed a single parry/dodge and had a party member dead at the end.

Yeah theyll gain xp, the only solo xp gained that I've seen is from a solo battle where you choose the character you wish to use.

From what ive seen, and i seen a lot since someone dies in every single fight, the dead member either gets xp or not. I don't know if its random or what, but so far it seems to be 50/50 chance.

Dead members get half XP. Or at least significantly less.

I won against the first real boss fight with Gustav dead, and he didn’t level up, he barely went up to half the progress bar. Reloaded and this time he was alive and he leveled up.

Dead parties DEFINITELY do not get the same xp amount is alive ones, I noticed that and had to repeat fights due to this

how about party members that aren't in the fight?

Everyone gets xp from fights. But only those living in the current party get full.

it think it's 50% exp for dead members and same for inactive party members.
