Everyone has a Skill Issue and bad pc
Everyone complaining about dodge and parry needs to get good.

If the game runs bad then your pc is bad.
(If you have amd sadly just wait a little and support will come out)

Game is good. Game deserves positive support

You obviously have no ability to read the room or use some critical thinking in figuring out why us turnbased JRPG fans who are decidedly *non*action gamers find the dodge/Parry system a nuisance to be shoehorned into this genre.

My parry success rate improved immensely after increasing my frame rate and turned off v sync. Now I can say it is completely my own fault if I miss one!
So funny reading all the skill issue posts
I don't find twitch based progression to be fun.

I like knowledge based progression that is far more common in RPGs or tactical games.

The issue is that this game marketed itself as a turn based RPG inspired by RPGs like Final Fantasy and then made soulslike reactions required to progress.

Even on easy mode there are monsters that one shot you without a parry/dodge.

Which skill? I'm quite accomplished in JRPG's, which this is supposed to be..

Honestly given that the parry windows are all over the place, if you parry well, you are the one that has a skill issue. Or a common sense issue. Some attacks do have their parry window in the right place but a lot are before the attack connects or after. Now, if you parry those, then yes, you have a skill issue.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Souls genre needs to die outside its own ecosystem. It does not belong anywhere except within itself.
I wish devs would stop chasing trends.
Expedition 33 is a gem ruined by souls bs.

Also the game clearly markets itself as a France inspired
turn-based RPG WITH real-time mechanics
Aka jump, dodge, parry, and quick action events

Expecting anything else would just be stupid

Learn patterns and you can become superman. It's simple.
